Overview

Calling all Work Planners! Are you an experienced Work Planner or Scheduler in housing maintenance and repairs, looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Work Planner/Scheduler based in Worcestershire, Herefordshire & Gloucestershire within our Platform Property Care planning team that could be for you!

In this key role you will be working as part of a highly motivated team planning a multi skill trades workforce to deliver planned and reactive maintenance work for our customers. Our team of Work Planners are central to our drive to deliver great customer service and 'right first time' repairs and installations.

This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8:00 - 16:30 – so no weekend working.


Responsibilities

* Plan an operational multi skill trades workforce, maintaining contact with field teams, and liaising with customers.
* Be highly organised, approachable, and a confident communicator.
* Manage a busy workload by juggling priorities, remaining calm under pressure, and working on your own initiative.
* Organise engineers and schedule property maintenance and repairs with the support of a team.


Requirements / Qualifications

* Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook and Word.
* Experience of working in a building maintenance or construction administration team as a work planner or scheduler; planning a trades workforce is essential.
* Experience with workforce (engineers) planning and scheduling software, including previously having used DRS.
* Some technical trades knowledge would be advantageous.
* Based in the Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire area (travel to these areas required).

Note: While this role is home based, there is an expectation to travel to our Group Offices located in Birmingham Business Park, Solihull or Central Park, Worcester on an ad-hoc basis as required. There is a team meeting every other month and other infrequent travel. Travel is reimbursed in line with our policy and Inland Revenue Mileage rates. Car parking at our offices is free.
