Job Description
Safely perform construction, maintenance, and operations activities for all assigned pipeline, compressor, production, gathering, and storage facilities. Respond to emergencies and work scheduled or unscheduled overtime. Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties at any time.
Minimum Qualifications
* Knowledge of natural gas pipeline maintenance, construction activities, processes, operations, and related DOT and OSHA regulations.
* Two years of experience operating and transporting backhoes, motor graders, dozers, sidebooms, cranes, large trucks, and other pipeline construction equipment.
* An associate's degree in a technical or mechanical field may substitute for experience.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and interpersonal skills. Valid motor vehicle driver's license required.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a valid A-1 commercial motor vehicle license within six months of employment.
* Possess or acquire valid crane operator's certification as required.
* Ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Other Requirements
* Protect networks, devices, programs, and data from cyber threats.
* Legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships considered.
* Frequent travel with overnight stays.
* Pass all requirements to become DOT operator qualified.
* Certified to wear a respirator if required.
* Subject to pre-employment background check and drug testing.
Job Responsibilities
* Operate equipment necessary for construction, maintenance, and operations.
* Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
