1:1 Teaching Assistant - Corby, Northamptonshire - Immediate Start - Long-Term Opportunity Tradewind Recruitment are working with a two-form entry primary school in Corby who are looking to appoint an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Reception with additional learning needs. This position is to start immediately after the October half term and requires a candidate with strong SEN experience. About the role: Providing tailored support to meet the child's learning, emotional, and social needs. Adapting classroom activities and materials to suit individual targets. Promoting engagement, independence, and confidence through structured routines and positive reinforcement. Working collaboratively with staff and external professionals to ensure consistent progress and care. Contributing to the overall success of the Early Years team. About you: Proven experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in Early Years or Key Stage 1. A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning and behaviour. The ability to build trusting relationships with children and colleagues. A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience).
