We are currently working in partnership with a new build residential developer based in Crawley, who are recruiting for a Senior Surveyor on a permanent contract. The position is due to start on notice. The annual salary is circa £75,000 with a £6,500 car allowance.
The ideal candidate will experience in groundworks projects and performed cost management duties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate cost management on a multi-phased groundworks project for 550 units in Crawley
* Preparing initial cost estimates for all groundwork activities, including excavation, drainage, piling, foundations, and substructure
* Managing payment of sub-contractors for complex large volume development projects from pre-operational stage through to final account settlement
* Simultaneously managing projects at different stages of value engineering, cost control, budgeting and forecasting
Experience required:
* Groundworks
* Home building
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
* Cost estimates for excavation, drainage, piling, foundations and substructure
