Inventory Controller

Rate: £18.21 PAYE or £24.33 Umbrella inside IR35
Contract: 6 Months
Onsite 5 Days
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to support aircraft maintenance and rebuild activities within the Typhoon programme. This role is critical to ensuring the effective control, accountability, and movement of aircraft spares and assets from Goods Inward through to delivery against maintenance schedules
The Job
1. Maintain physical control and accountability of all aircraft spares.
2. Accurately populate TMF Logs, IMS systems, and associated databases for all inventory transactions.
3. Control serviceable and unserviceable equipment in accordance with current regulations.
4. Process MJDI inventory transfers and Maintenix transactions in line with business processes.
5. Identify, resolve, or escalate potential issues promptly to support alternative demand solutions.
6. Ensure compliance with Mil Part 145 legislation at all times.
7. Support regulators and VSU operations to maintain asset and aircraft availability.
8. Liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering and logistics teams.
Skills
9. Awareness and understanding of Mil Part 145 / Pt M regulations.
10. Competent and qualified in RAF Logistics MJDI systems (essential).
11. Knowledge of IMS and supply chain IT systems.
12. Experience working in a regulated logistics or maintenance environment.
13. Ability to deliver accurate outputs aligned to quality, quantity, and schedule requirements.
