Head of Finance Business Partnering
Central London, Hybrid, up to £85,000 DOE + 10% pension, 1–2 days in office, Permanent
Robert Half are partnering with a high-impact transport group responsible for overseeing the performance and financial health of multiple national operating businesses. As part of a broader organisational transformation, we are hiring a Head of Finance Business Partnering to take ownership of group-wide performance reporting, stakeholder engagement, and the budgeting and forecasting cycle.
This role is best suited to a qualified finance leader (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with exceptional relationship management skills and the drive to build a function that supports strategic decision-making across a complex, multi-entity environment.
Role:
* Own the budgeting, forecasting and periodic reporting cycles across the group, including detailed reviews of business performance and spend
* Influence senior stakeholders across multiple entities, enabling effective commercial decisions with high-quality financial insight
* Standardise financial processes and policies across the group, collaborating with finance teams and external advisors
* Partner closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Director to develop business plans, improve reporting infrastructure, and contribute to wider strategic planning
* Build and lead a team over time, shaping the finance business partnering model from the ground up
Experience required:
* Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with 5+ years post-qualified experience
* Track record in multi-entity group reporting environments
* Confident communicator with exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing big-picture thinking with technical delivery
* Passionate about driving improvements in financial control, reporting, and business engagement
Package:
* Up to £85,000 base salary DOE
* 10% employer pension contribution
* 25 days holiday
