NXA Talent are delighted to be partnering with a leading retailer to hire a number of key roles as part of a growth in operation to support their expanding customer base. The Senior Supply Chain Specialist role is a key hire as part of this retailers expansion
Key Responsibilities:
* Support business expansion across domestic and international markets
* Assist with the setup and management of transport systems across the UK and International territories
* Coordinate customs documentation and compliance necessities
* Work closely with the existing transport team to ensure successful deliveries.
* Plan and oversee deliveries from external 3pl warehouses across the UK & EU
* Work with forwarders and brokers to find solutions to operational issues
* Ensure correct use of customs rules to ensure successful movement of products
Skillset:
* Established experience in international logistics with experience in food/FMCG & retail verticals being advantageous
* Experience of preparing import and customs documentation
* Experience working with freight forwarders and/or 3pl partners
* Knowledge of customs processes and regulations (e.g. Incoterms)
