Cene Media Ltd is seeking a Media Sales – Business Development Executive with a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality, the arts, music, and culture.
Our multi-award-winning title 'cene Magazine', alongside our fast-growing national title 'Padel Culture', showcase the vibrant creative, hospitality, events, and padel industries across entertainment and sport.
This role suits a motivated, ambitious individual who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and representing our innovative media platforms across Kent and beyond. (A full UK driving licence is required.)
Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of a defined Kent audience, achieving and exceeding monthly revenue targets.
* Proactively develop new business opportunities via phone, email, LinkedIn, in person, and through industry networking.
* Manage and grow existing client relationships, upselling across print, digital, and event opportunities.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities using our CRM system.
* Represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions (countywide travel required).
* Work closely with marketing, editorial, and event teams to deliver integrated, creative solutions for clients.
* Track performance, prepare reports, and provide insight on market trends and competitor activity.
What You'll Need
* Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within a related industry.
* Strong proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
* Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset for identifying growth opportunities.
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving targets and objectives.
