We are looking for a Rehabilitation Assistant to join an amazing team at our Frenchay service in Bristol. This is an amazing opportunity to visit the service for a chance to secure a full‑time opportunity.
Full Time – 37.63 hrs per week
Salary – £27,705.43 FTE per annum (pro rata)

Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre is a 52‑bed centre that specialises in the treatment of adults with complex physical and cognitive impairments, challenging behaviours and neuropsychiatric disorders resulting from a brain injury. We offer comprehensive assessment, rehabilitation and therapy with facilities including accessible therapy kitchens, hydrotherapy pool, two gymnasiums, five large day rooms (three with direct access to landscaped gardens), minibuses and a car for appointments and day‑out events.
Please note we are NOT able to offer sponsorship for this role and therefore will not be able to progress any candidates who require a certificate of sponsorship to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
* Support patients with all their personal care needs, including washing, dressing, toileting and nutritional needs.
* Assist nursing staff in providing high‑quality individualised care to a clearly defined group of patients, relatives and carers.
* Work and act as a key member of the team, supporting each patient in the achievement of their planned outcomes.
* Build relationships with patients that are open and two‑way.
* Support patients to undertake their rehabilitation programme.
* Establish methods of communication with patients, reducing barriers where necessary.
* Communicate any issues to the clinical team.
* Accurately report and/or record work activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is required.
* A genuine interest in providing the best person‑centred care possible.
* The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
