Production Controller
Joloda Hydraroll is recruiting a Production Controller to support the delivery of production plans on site in Gaerwen, ensuring smooth material flow and on-time delivery within a stable, global engineering business. The Role
As the Production Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of the production plan by managing information and material flow across manufacturing cells. Working closely with production, suppliers and planning colleagues, you will help ensure all project and sales orders are delivered on time and in full.
Key Responsibilities
· Interpreting production plans and scheduling work for manufacturing cells to optimise efficiency and meet shipping deadlines
· Controlling the release of materials and information to production to maintain correct sequencing and workflow
· Liaising with suppliers to adjust plans and avoid downtime
· Championing despatch compliance with a target of 100% OTIF delivery
· Identifying and escalating capacity constraints to the Production Planning team
· Protecting manufacturing flow from disruption or deviation from plan
· Ensuring production system transactions are accurate to maintain stock integrity
· Coordinating kitting activities to support line efficiency
· Auditing system data and transactions to minimise errors
· Supporting continuous improvement of planning and reporting processes
About You
You’ll be organised, detail-focused and comfortable working with production data and systems. You’ll communicate clearly, work well with others on site, and take pride in keeping processes accurate and running smoothly.
Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is beneficial, but we’re also open to candidates with strong transferable skills and a genuine interest in production planning.
Hours & Location
· 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
· Location: Gaerwen, Anglesey
· Rate: £15.06 per hour
