Dewey Group is currently recruiting Precast Ground Beam Operatives of all experience levels on behalf of a well-established client with a growing division dedicated to precast foundation systems.
With a strong order book and continued expansion, our client is looking to add skilled and enthusiastic individuals to their existing teams. Whether you're seeking permanent employment or temporary assignments, this is a great opportunity to secure consistent work on a variety of residential and commercial sites across the UK.
The Role
*
Installing precast concrete ground beams on active construction sites
*
Working as part of a team to lift, place, and secure precast units
*
Following layout drawings and site plans
*
Collaborating with crane/lifting teams and other site operatives
*
Maintaining site safety and quality standards
*
Supporting site preparation and tidy-up activities as needed
Who We’re Looking For
We’re hiring across all skill levels, from experienced precast installers to groundworkers looking to move into more specialised roles. We're especially interested in candidates with:
*
CSCS Card (Essential)
*
Previous experience in precast installation, groundworks, or modular concrete systems
*
Ability to follow technical drawings or beam layouts
*
Willingness to work away from home (accommodation & travel provided where required)
*
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Desirable (Not Essential):
*
CPCS/NPORS Slinger/Signaller or CPCS/NPORS 360 Excavator with lifting ops
*
Site Supervisor experience (SSSTS/SMSTS)
