Description
* Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 500+ UK, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
* Input and validate variable data such as bonuses, commissions, overtime, and absences.
* Maintain accurate payroll records in accordance with HMRC legislation
* Checking accuracy of data received from other departments
* Calculation of statutory payments and deductions, SMP, SSP, SPP, Tax, NI, Student Loans etc.
* To ensure P45 and New Starter checklist is processed and produced accurately. Including P60s and P11Ds
* Run Payroll reconciliations
* Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity in our systems.
* Collaborate with the cross functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
* Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and recommending adjustments as needed.
* To ensure compliance with Pension auto-enrolment for all employees
* To deal with HMRC & employee enquiries relating to payroll
* First point of contact for initial payroll and pension related queries
* Responsible for Payroll Mailbox and query response in adherence with agreed SLA's
* Contribute to ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

* Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant regulations.
