The Company
ICE Education is a small company operating throughout Britain – and across the world – from its base in Sedbergh. It is the country's leading provider for training, recruitment and advisory services for schools, in sport – and also provides advisory and recruitment services, in addition to a range of other school sport-based activities. There is a small administrative, and leadership, team based in the office, with remote employees elsewhere, and a large number of international sportsmen and women who contribute between one and forty days per year to the education programme.

The Role
The person appointed will take full control of the processes for taking and administering courses, conferences, and other training products. This is a mixture of face to face and online training events. It will involve liaising with presenters, facilities and clients. They will work closely with both the Recruitment and Events Directors, in planning and promoting events and responding to requests from schools and teachers. The successful candidate will be comfortable with working on their own initiative and as part of a close-knit team. The job will be based in the company's office in Sedbergh, though home working will be possible during school holidays.
There will be an occasional evening required to host webinars over Zoom. All webinars last between 60-90mins. They may also be required to attend our annual PADSIS conference in Oxford, which requires an overnight stay.
The Person
The successful candidate will be thorough, well organised and efficient. They will also have an engaging and outgoing manner and enjoy working with a friendly team in a fast paced environment. Being a team player is imperative to this role.
Computer literacy is very important and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications will be essential. Database experience, though not essential, would be desirable. An interest in sport and the education sector would be an advantage. The role will also involve updating our websites, social media and advertising the company via the internet. Appropriate training can be provided where necessary but the right candidate will have a good understanding of the above.
Conditions
There is flexibility in this position, which will be negotiated with the successful candidate. It is anticipated that it will involve around 30hours per week, over 5 days, 44weeks of the year by agreement. There will be reduced hours of 10hrs p/w over 8 weeks of the school holidays, reflecting a lower workload. The salary will be £21,000 i.e. £15p/hour. Candidates should indicate their preference on application. There is some flexibility for the right candidate.
The agreed salary and working hours will depend on experience.

* Downloading webinar recordings before editing & uploading to YouTube.
* Sending out event feedback forms.
* Processing online bookings and responding to customer queries
