The Opportunity You will manage a diverse and rewarding private client caseload covering a broad range of matters, including estate planning, trusts, probate, inheritance tax planning and succession arrangements. You will advise a loyal client base across Wiltshire and the South West, including clients with complex UK and international asset structures. Key Responsibilities Advising on Wills, estate planning and succession planning Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning and wealth preservation strategies Drafting, establishing and administering trusts Probate matters and complex estate administration Advising High Net Worth individuals, entrepreneurs and farming clients Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) Tax-efficient estate structuring Providing tailored private client advice to individuals and families Candidate Requirements To be considered for this Private Client Solicitor role, you should have: Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) Minimum 5 years' PQE within Private Client law Strong technical knowledge of trusts, probate and inheritance tax planning Experience managing your own private client caseload Excellent client relationship and communication skills Ability to work independently whilst contributing to a collaborative team environment Desirable Skills STEP qualification Working towards STEP accreditation Experience advising High Net Worth clients Agricultural, rural or landed estate experience Full support is available for candidates pursuing STEP qualifications and ongoing professional development.
