We need an experienced International Treasury Specialist who will be responsible for supporting daily treasury operations, ensuring timely execution of payment processes, cash management activities and compliance with internal financial control requirements.
The role focuses on liquidity monitoring, banking coordination, payment execution and financial data accuracy in line with corporate governance standards and reporting timelines.
The position operates as an individual contributor and supports the Finance function in maintaining financial discipline and operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for:
Payment Execution & Cash Operations
* Execute payments in accordance with approved payment lists and defined treasury procedures
* Ensure payments are processed accurately and within established timelines
* Verify completeness of supporting documentation prior to payment release
* Monitor unpaid or pending items and lift discrepancies in a timely manner
* Maintain proper records of payment transactions and approval confirmations
* Coordinate with AP, FBP and Accounting teams to ensure payment readiness
Cash Management & Liquidity Monitoring
* Monitor daily cash balances across bank accounts
* Prepare short‑term cash flow forecasts and liquidity reports
* Support cash positioning and funding arrangements under defined treasury guidelines
* Track intercompany funding movements and related reconciliations
* Assist in managing foreign‑exchange exposure tracking as required
Banking & Compliance Coordination
* Maintain relationships with banking partners for operational matters
* Support bank account opening, closing and maintenance documentation
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and treasury policies
* Prepare documentation and reports required for internal and external audits
* Support SOX and internal control testing related to treasury activities
Reporting & Process Improvement
* Prepare treasury‑related reports including payment status, liquidity summaries and reconciliation schedules
* Support monthly and quarterly closing processes related to treasury transactions
* Assist in identifying process inefficiencies and recommend improvements within defined guidelines
* Provide support during system upgrades, UAT testing and treasury module enhancements
Performance Expectations
* Adherence to daily and monthly payment timelines
* Accuracy and completeness of treasury transactions and documentation
* Timely identification and resolution of payment or reconciliation discrepancies
* Effective coordination with Accounting, FP&A and Business Finance teams
* Maintenance of audit‑ready records and compliance with treasury governance standards
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Relevant experience in treasury, finance operations or cash management
* Practical understanding of payment processes, banking operations and liquidity management
* Familiarity with internal control and compliance requirements
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Ability to work under defined timelines and reporting calendars
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
* Proficiency in English
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP treasury module)
* Exposure to multi‑entity or international treasury environments
* Professional finance qualification (or actively studying towards certification)
This role may require occasional coordination across time zones.
