Senior Manager – Programme & Change Acceleration
We are looking for a Senior Manager with extensive expertise in Programme and Portfolio Management to lead complex client business transformation initiatives across a variety of sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the shaping, planning, and delivery of medium and large scale, complex client business transformation initiatives.
* Manage all aspects of client engagements, including budgets, resource profiles, billing, and contracts.
* Develop delivery strategies and new offerings by applying advanced tooling, automation, and tailored methodologies.
* Play a pivotal role in the Programme and Change Practice, executing current strategy and contributing to internal training pathways.
* Structure and lead delivery teams, mentoring and coaching junior team members.
Role Scope
* Business Development – lead or contribute to proposals, RFPs, bids, client pitches, and client events.
* Internal Contribution – campaign development, think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development, and offering development.
* Learning & Development – training support, certifications, and career development.
Qualifications
* Proven track record of leading and delivering complex, multi‑supplier transformation initiatives across various industries; expertise in programme governance, stakeholder management, and risk management.
* Commercial acumen to structure deals that benefit clients and Capgemini; proven ability to nurture client relationships.
* Experience with multiple delivery approaches, particularly hybrid delivery models combining traditional PMO approaches with Agile frameworks.
* Experience with automation solutions (workflow automation, AI resource augmentation, AI‑driven reporting, RPA) and the ability to assess and implement tools that drive efficiency in PMO and P3O processes.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Relevant P3M qualifications (MSP, MoP, P3O, PMQ, PPQ, PMP, PgMP, PROSCI, PRINCE2).
* Proven success in a matrixed organisation and ability to rally peers for consulting solutions.
* Experience in proposition building and transitioning from sales to delivery.
* Business development ability to generate approximately £1m of consulting revenue.
* UK security vetting status (Security Check).
