We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Lead to join our team, delivering commercial management across all Move and Change (MAC) projects for a prestigious blue-chip client.

Job Description
This is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll be involved in the full project lifecycle—overseeing costs, contracts, and commercial compliance across multiple workstreams, including M&E, fabric, and furniture.
You'll be part of a supportive and knowledgeable team, with access to excellent training and development opportunities—including job-related qualifications fully funded by ISS. Working closely with the Project Commercial Team, you’ll ensure robust financial oversight while helping to drive value and efficiency across the MAC portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
* Build accurate project costs for capital works between £100k–£3m
* Maintain strong profit margins through proactive cost control
* Negotiate daily with suppliers to secure best value
* Collaborate with project teams to meet commercial milestones
* Report weekly on revenue, margin and cash targets
* Supervise and support Assistant Quantity Surveyors
* Identify and mitigate commercial risks and maximise opportunities
About You
* A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
* Significant post-qualification experience, ideally in building maintenance or corporate environments
* A proven track record managing construction contracts up to £10 million
* Expertise in procurement, supplier negotiation, project planning, and contract procedures
* Strong estimating and tender preparation skills
* End-to-end project experience—from concept and full design to final approval/handover - with a keen eye on hitting key milestones
* A sharp commercial focus, with a history of driving margin improvements in a MAC environment
* Excellent presentation, communication, and reporting abilities
* Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
* Ability to read and measure from technical drawings using AutoCAD
* MRICS qualified or actively working toward chartered status
