About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Plumber / Pipefitter to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for the installation, modification, and maintenance of mechanical and public health systems on a variety of commercial projects.
We specialise in delivering comprehensive mechanical works for office Cat A and Cat B fit-outs, as well as projects in the education and hospitality sectors. Our services encompass design, air conditioning, ventilation, 2-pipe and 4-pipe systems, insulation, controls, leak detection, and full commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and test 2-pipe and 4-pipe fan coil unit systems, including associated pipework.
* Undertake works on cold water, domestic hot water, and drainage systems.
* Install and maintain tea points, sanitaryware, and public health systems.
* Read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
* Deliver projects to the highest quality, prioritising efficiency, sustainability, and client satisfaction in line with current industry standards, CIBSE Guide G (Public Health & Plumbing), and other relevant building services guidance.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a plumber/pipefitter in commercial building services.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and public health systems including CWS, DWS, DHWS, and drainage.
* Familiarity with HVAC-related systems and integration of controls (CIBSE Guide H: Building Control Systems).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team on live construction sites.
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating.
* CSCS/JIB card a must
Package Details:
* Starting salary: £38-48k per annum
* Working hours: 40 hours per week (typically 07:30–16:00)
