Job Summary
Pertemps is recruiting for an MIS analyst for a Logistics company to be responsible for collecting, analysing, and reporting operational data related to logistics activities such as inventory, transportation, warehousing, and order fulfilment. The role ensures accurate and timely management information to support decision making, performance tracking, and continuous improvement in logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Reporting
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on logistics KPIs
* Track and analyse: Order fulfilment & OTIF (On Time In Full)
* Inventory accuracy, ageing, and stock movement
* Inbound and outbound shipments
* Transport costs and utilisation
* Maintain dashboards using Excel / BI tools for management review
Operational Support
* Coordinate with warehouse, transport, and planning teams to collect real time operational data
* Monitor adherence to SLAs, turnaround time (TAT), and service levels
* Identify variances, root causes, and report exceptions
Systems & Process Management
* Work on WMS (DLx, ProSku, AX) for data extraction and validation
* Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems
* Support system improvements, automation, and process optimisation initiatives
Analysis & Decision Support
* Analyse trends in logistics performance and costs
* Provide insights to improve: Delivery performance
* Provide insights to improve: Inventory optimisation
* Provide insights to improve: Warehouse productivity
* Support leadership with ad hoc reports and presentations
Compliance & Documentation
* Maintain MIS documentation, SOPs, and reporting standards
* Support internal audits and compliance requirements
* Ensure confidentiality and data integrity
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Accuracy and timeliness of MIS reports
* OTIF delivery performance
* Inventory accuracy and stock variance
* Logistics cost efficiencyData integrity and system compliance
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
* Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query)
* Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Dynamics / similar)
* Working knowledge of WMS / TMS
* Data analysis and reporting skills
* Power BI / Tableau (preferred)
