As Project Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering technical projects end-to-end, from design to installation and ensuring the continuous improvement and reliability of a 24/7 high-volume production environment.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused position, ideal for an experienced engineer with a proactive mindset and strong organisational skills. You'll collaborate across functions and lead contractor activities while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Plan, coordinate, and deliver engineering projects across all lifecycle stages.
Create CAD site and process drawings to support installations.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with structured delivery and strong contractor oversight.
Liaise with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and minimal disruption.
Prepare comprehensive project packs including machine manuals and handover documentation.
Ensure rigorous H&S compliance, including permits to work, risk assessments, and method statements.What We're Looking For:
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering (Beneficial).
Proven experience managing multiple technical projects in a fast-paced environment (Beneficial).
Strong AutoCAD skills and confident in using MS Office (MS Project a plus).
Excellent communication and contractor management skills.
Ability to work hands-on within a collaborative team environment.
Open to all backgrounds but FMCG is advantageous.
Exposure to CI methodologies and Project Management qualifications.
Experience setting up asset care and maintenance documentation.
