Category Specialist in multi-national FMCG firm based in Leicestershire (hybrid) - £40000
A new exciting opportunity has arisen within a well-established, fast moving consumer goods firm, as they seek a new Category Specialist to join them. Expanding across the UK and Europe, this household name offers the chance to work with reputable clients within the industry, with the guarantee of expanding your portfolio.
With experience within indirect procurement, you will oversee facilities management across this multi-billion pound company. Through interpreting spend analytics and liaising with stakeholders, you will develop and implement category plans to reduce costs within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Showing initiative and critical thinking to improve existing systems
* Support end-to-end tender processes
* Use own expertise and knowledge to carry out strategic analysis of spend data to inform and implement strategy development
* Manages ongoing supplier contract databases and contract renewals
* Coordinate communication between the National Procurement department, the wider business and external stakeholders
For this role, you will have a proven track record within indirect procurement, with a minimum of two years in the industry. Experience within FM is desired but not essential.
This role offers a hybrid work scheme, allowing work from home two days a week.
