The Solutions Marketing Team ensures Dematic’s product and solutions are positioned at the forefront of the industry and market..Reporting to the Software Marketing Manager, the Global Software Marketing Specialist plays a key role in developing the positioning, proposition and messaging for our market leading software portfolio. This role collaborates cross-functionally to gather market, product, and competitive intelligence to inform successful strategies to grow the pipeline and drive profitable growth. In this global role, you will help bring new software offerings and features to the market, optimize the value of software through brilliant positioning, and articulate what makes Dematic different.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Gather and analyze data on the customer and market, leveraging key insights to inform decisions

1. Understand the customer’s needs, challenges, customers, buying journey, buying criteria, and perception of value
2. Assist with voice of customer efforts and identify key themes
3. Uncover valuable insights that lead to breakthrough messaging and innovative products that solve customer challenges
4. Collaborate with the Global Strategy team to share insights and advance organizational understanding of the customer, market, and competition
5. Understand market drivers, trends, size, opportunities, and threats
6. Know the players, partners, and competitors by analyzing their products, messaging, and marketing to differentiate and position Dematic’s offering
7. Remain up to date on emerging and future trends across all relevant industries
8. Leverage data to inform decision-making for strategy development and adjustments as necessary

Work cross-functionally to execute strategies that drive business growth and reinforce brand equity

9. Manage various projects and campaigns for existing offerings and new product launches
10. Assist with key messaging and positioning that differentiate products to optimize software value in various markets and ensure excellent execution of the strategy
11. Communicate software strategies to colleagues in various functions (Product Marketing, Product Management, and Marketing & Communications) to ensure execution alignment
12. Project manage the marketing process from discovery ideation to execution, by ensuring defined goals are met, budget and timeline parameters are observed, the right stakeholders are informed or consulted, and execution aligns to strategies
13. Help develop sales tools, training, and content along key customer touchpoints
14. Communicate software strategies and obtain input across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and other global and regional stakeholder groups
15. Provide feedback to Marketing & Communications teams and agencies on content, collateral, and copy in the execution of GTM programs

Skills Required:

16. 2-4 years of professional software marketing experience, preferably in a B2B environment
17. 1-2 years leading cross-functional teams and projects
18. Experience with Cloud software and SaaS offerings a plus
19. Able to work independently with moderate direction
20. Learns complex concepts quickly and thinks critically
21. A team player and true collaborator with exceptional interpersonal skills
22. Strong analysis, project management, and problem-solving abilities
23. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workloads to meet competing deadlines
24. You are passionate about technology and thrive in a fast-paced environment
25. Excellent communication skills
26. Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook is required
27. Experience with Salesforce is a plus
