About The Role
We're looking for an Admin Assistant to join our team and provide proactive administrative support across the business. You'll be the go‑to person for day‑to‑day office coordination, keeping information up to date, supporting field teams, and ensuring our clients receive a responsive, professional service.
About Us
Vantage Solutions, part of Mitie Telecoms, are the Lifting & Traffic Management specialist, who support in the acquisition, design and construction (ADC) services for telecoms infrastructure, alongside specialist managed services for temporary mobile infrastructure to support the events sector, and bespoke structural engineering and design services for telecoms assets.
What will you be doing?
Acting as a first point of contact for visitors, calls and shared inboxes; handling queries and escalating where needed
Keeping records, trackers and reports accurate and up to date (data entry, document control, spreadsheets)
Coordinating plant/equipment bookings and logistics; raising and tracking requests
Liaising with clients and suppliers to schedule works, confirm details and provide updates
Supporting field staff with day‑to‑day needs (e.g., travel arrangements, documentation packs, kit allocations)
Assisting with purchase orders, receipts and basic vendor administration
Helping with the smooth running of the office: stock, stationery, meeting rooms and general admin
What will you bring to the role?
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in reception, coordination, and general administration, with the ability to plan and organise their workload effectively. Strong attention to detail is essential, along with the confidence to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines. They should demonstrate a collaborative, team‑focused approach and communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
Good IT skills are also important for this role, particularly in working with spreadsheets and managing data accurately and efficiently.
Location & hours
This role is based on‑site in Bury, Greater Manchester, 24 hours per week and flexible on the working days for the right candidate.
