JDR are hiring for multiple CNC machinists for one of their clients in Newcastle under Lyme, ST5 Contract type: Permanent vacancy Working Hours: You can choose either Day shift or Night Shifts Day shift - £16.50-£18.00 per hour - Dependant on experience 7:30 - 4:30, Monday to Friday. 12:30pm finish Friday Night shift - £21.45 - £23.40 - Dependant on experience 18:00 - 4:30am, Sunday to Thursday The Role: Programming, setting and monitoring of Lathe, Mills and turning CNC machines using CADCAM software Regularly performing quality checks on the finished products in line with the companies QMS Working to estimated production times Working within the companies H&S policy Ensuring the work areas are organised and tidy. Ensuring tooling is returned to the tool stores. Ensuring material is returned to the material stores. What we're looking for: An experienced CNC setter, who has experience working through the full CNC lifecycle, including programming, setting and operating. Programming experience with Heidenhein, Mazatrol or Siemens controls would be a benefit, as would any experience with CADCAM software Someone who has an eye for detail and can quality check finished products.
