We are seeking an experienced
Senior IT Project Manager
to lead major Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives, helping to shape how complex engineering and manufacturing organisations deliver transformation through digital platforms.
This role will focus on projects involving
Siemens Teamcenter, but candidates with experience of other PLM tools (e.g. Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE, Windchill, or SAP PLM) are strongly encouraged to apply.
Youll be joining a forward-thinking environment where IT transformation is at the heart of operations. This is a hands-on delivery role, managing programmes with budgets around £8m, balancing technical delivery with strong stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that projects deliver measurable value.
What youll be doing
Leading end-to-end PLM projects across on-premise, hybrid and SaaS platforms.
Managing project budgets of circa £8m, ensuring delivery within scope, cost and timelines.
Coordinating matrix teams, including business SMEs, IT specialists and external suppliers.
Building strong supplier and vendor relationships to drive value and manage performance.
Applying methodologies such as
CIFTER
and other structured approaches to ensure quality delivery.
Translating technical requirements into clear, actionable plans for stakeholders at all levels.
What were looking for
Proven experience as a
Senior IT Project Manager
delivering large-scale PLM or similar enterprise applications.
Strong background in vendor and supplier management, with a track record of successful negotiations and governance.
Experience delivering projects across a mix of
on-premise, hybrid, and SaaS environments .
A pragmatic leader who can inspire cross-functional teams and adapt quickly in a complex organisation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
Familiarity with
CIFTER
or equivalent delivery methodologies.

This role is a permanent position that is Hybrid but will be 3
4 days a week in the office. The role can be base in the Manchester area or East Midlands, however it will involve travel to other offices from your base location.
