Eaton Syalon are pleased to be recruiting a Scheduling Administrator on behalf of one of our key clients. This is a 9 month fixed term opportunity, supporting a busy and collaborative service department that plays a vital role in keeping customers up and running.
As Scheduling Administrator, you will be at the heart of planning and coordinating engineer activity. Acting as the central point of contact, you'll ensure diaries are managed effectively, service requests are allocated promptly, and customers are kept updated at every stage. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
It is essential that you have a background in an engineering or service-based environment. Ideally, you will have previous experience of scheduling engineers, allocating jobs, and planning site visits.
We are ideally looking for a candidate who can start ASAP, however the client is open to candidates with a short notice period.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage engineer diaries and allocate jobs in line with service requirements.
* Act as first point of contact for customer queries and service requests.
* Log and process calls accurately through the internal system.
* Plan and schedule engineer site visits, ensuring workloads are balanced and deadlines are met.
* Arrange spare/replacement parts and ensure correct documentation is provided.
* Produce service reports and assist the Helpdesk Team Leader with performance tracking.
* Build strong relationships with engineers, contract managers and customers.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have:
* Proven experience in a coordination, planning or scheduling role.
* A background in an engineering or service-based environment.
* Previous experience of managing engineer diaries, scheduling site visits and allocating jobs.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
* Strong communication skills with the confidence to deal with customers and engineers at all levels.
* Competence using Microsoft Office and ideally service management systems.
Salary: £25,000 - £26,500
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30 AM – 5.00 PM
Hybrid Working Available – 2 days working from home / 3 days based at the Nottingham office.
