Project Engineer
Location: Beccles, Suffolk
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30 (minimum 40 hours/week, 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you’ll be part of a high-performing team focused on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Reporting to the Project & Site Services Manager, you’ll work on a variety of initiatives, from installing and decommissioning production machinery to driving continuous improvement programs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver projects and improvement programs within agreed budgets and timelines
Install, decommission, and maintain production machinery and associated equipment
Adapt to changing priorities while working to project schedules
Collaborate with external suppliers and contractors for technical support
Complete and review risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards
Drive efficiency and performance improvements across the production environment
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to company procedures
Occasional travel to other sites may be required
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Strong understanding of a second discipline
Experience in manufacturing and production equipment maintenance
Knowledge of PUWER and machinery safety regulations (desirable)
Full UK driving licence and forklift licence (desirable)
Skills & Attributes
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
