Are you a registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with a passion for providing exceptional care? We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our Hospital Liaison Psychiatry service as a key member of the senior clinical team.
The Service – Liaison Psychiatry
The Liaison psychiatry service provides mental health advice and support to individuals receiving care and treatment at general hospitals in Kent and Medway. General hospital staff can refer anyone over the age of 18 who attends A&E or is an inpatient on a medical or surgical ward. The liaison team offers advice, support or a full mental and psychological health assessment as appropriate, ensuring holistic consideration of physical and mental health to enable best possible care in a collaborative way.

Responsibilities
* Offer high quality assessment and brief interventions with a focus on people in distress related to mental and physical health conditions.
* Provide consultation, supervision of other practitioners, facilitation of reflective practice, and teaching staff in the multi-disciplinary and hospital team.
* Develop and support your own practice while helping the team balance flexible, high-quality services that provide quick, effective access and meet the expectations of patients, carers and the public.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Doctorate-level or equivalent BPS approved qualification in Clinical/Counselling psychology.
* Experience in a range of clinical settings and the ability to support people in acute distress.
* HCPC registration.
