Conveyancing Legal Assistant
Location: Yeovil, Somerset

TSR Legal are pleased to be representing a well-established and respected regional law firm, who are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Legal Assistant to support an experienced Conveyancer with a caseload of local residential property work.
This role would suit someone with prior conveyancing support experience who enjoys being closely involved in transactions and working within a collaborative, community-focused team.
The Role
You will work alongside a Conveyancer, providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to ensure matters progress smoothly from instruction through to post-completion. The work is largely local, with a strong emphasis on quality, client care, and long-term relationships rather than volume.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supporting a Conveyancer with residential conveyancing matters, including sales and purchases
2. Preparing legal documentation, correspondence, and contracts
3. Opening, managing, and closing files in line with firm procedures
4. Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
5. Assisting with post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
