Senior Recruitment Consultant – Hardware (Cubiq Robotics)
Manchester City Centre – Hybrid or Remote
Excellent Base + Commission up to 50% + Benefits
We’re currently looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join the Hardware desk within our Cubiq Robotics US team, working with some of the most advanced robotics companies across the United States.
This desk focuses on hardware engineering hires within robotics and autonomous systems, supporting companies building everything from advanced automation and autonomous vehicles to next-generation robotic platforms.
Typical roles include mechanical, electrical, electronics, and embedded systems engineers, as well as specialists across controls, mechatronics, and robotics hardware development.
You’ll be joining a high-performing and well-established hardware team, stepping into a hot desk with live roles and active client relationships across the US robotics market.
While experience recruiting hardware or robotics engineering talent would be a strong advantage, it’s not essential. Robotics is a highly specialist space, and we recognise that very few recruiters have direct exposure to it.
What matters more is strong recruitment fundamentals and an interest in the technologies shaping the future of automation. For the right person, this role offers the opportunity to step into one of the most technically exciting markets in recruitment, supported by a team that has been operating in robotics for over a decade.
Why join Cubiq Robotics?
Cubiq has been operating in the robotics market for over ten years, partnering with some of the most technically advanced companies shaping the future of automation and intelligent machines.
Our Robotics practice works with organisations across the US robotics ecosystem, from venture-backed start-ups to globally recognised robotics leaders.
This role sits within one of our top-performing hardware teams, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn directly from a high-performing leader with deep experience in robotics recruitment and the US engineering market.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive environment, where knowledge sharing and market insight are encouraged. Robotics is a highly specialist space, and we place a strong emphasis on helping consultants build real market expertise.
With live roles to work on from day one, established client relationships, and the support of an experienced team around you, you’ll have a strong platform to build momentum quickly and grow your own desk within the robotics ecosystem.
What you’ll do
* Deliver the full 360 recruitment cycle, from business development to candidate placement and account management
* Build relationships with hardware engineers and technical leaders across the robotics ecosystem
* Develop and execute your own client development strategy within the US robotics market
* Work on live vacancies and established client accounts from day one
* Collaborate closely with a high-performing robotics team, sharing knowledge and market insight
* Build long-term credibility within a highly specialist technology market
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with:
* At least one year of recruitment experience in an agency environment
* Ideally experience recruiting within engineering, electronics, embedded systems, or another technical market
* Strong relationship-building and business development skills
* A genuine interest in technology and emerging industries
* The motivation to build long-term credibility within a specialist market
Experience recruiting mechanical, electrical, or embedded engineers into robotics or autonomous systems would be a strong advantage, but it’s not a requirement.
More important is your curiosity about technology, your approach to building relationships, and your interest in developing real expertise within a specialist industry.
With the guidance, support, and backing of one of the most established robotics recruitment teams in the market, you’ll have everything you need to develop a long-term desk in a high-growth industry.
Benefits
* Market-leading uncapped commission structure with no threshold, offering up to 50% commission
* Clear and transparent progression to leadership and directorship, with individualised career development plans
* The opportunity to build a specialist desk in the robotics market, with training and guidance from one of the most established robotics recruitment teams in the industry
* Direct exposure to cutting-edge robotics companies and engineering leaders shaping the future of automation
* A collaborative team environment where knowledge sharing and market insight are encouraged
* Flexible and hybrid working arrangements
* Modern city-centre office with on-site gym, breakout spaces, pool table, bike storage, and parking
* Two annual holiday incentives, quarterly achievers club, late starts, early finishes, and additional performance incentives
