Support Worker – Cardiff ££ p/h
Are you compassionate, reliable, and ready to make a real difference in people’s lives? Our growing care agency is looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Cardiff!
As a Support Worker, you will:
5. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks, using a person-centred approach to ensure their needs are met
6. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
7. Help clients maintain their independence and well-being by supporting them in community activities and appointments
8. Safely assist clients with mobility using Moving & Handling techniques, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times
9. Support individuals who may display challenging behaviour, responding calmly and effectively to ensure a safe and positive environment
10. Support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, promoting a sense of purpose and fulfilment
Requirements:
11. At least 6 months UK based experience in care and support work
12. Driving license and access to vehicle – preferred
13. A caring, patient, and reliable attitude
14. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
15. Please note: We do not offer sponsorship
16. Proven experience working with individuals with challenging behaviour
17. Ability to manage situations confidently using de-escalation techniques
18. Understanding of positive behaviour support and person-centred care
