Project Manager – NIHR Leeds Healthtech Research Centre
Oversee the evaluation, development and implementation of innovative ideas and inventions in healthcare, supporting hospitals, universities, research organisations, community‑based services and technology companies.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide innovation support to a range of partners within the NIHR Leeds Healthtech Research Centre.
* Plan and manage complex healthcare innovation projects, coordinating activities with academics and stakeholders across the School of Medicine and School of Mechanical Engineering.
* Act as a member of the Management Team and Steering Committee, collaborating with local partner institutes.
* Assist with large‑scale funding bids and develop strategies to secure successful proposals.
Required Qualifications
* Experience in health and social care and/or academic research, with familiarity of research funder environments.
* Strong project planning and project management skills, demonstrated through delivery of complex projects.
* Knowledge of how to assemble and submit successful funding bids.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
