An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled CNC Miller with experience in online or offline programming to join a growing manufacturing team.
My client, a specialist in a precision engineering company, is offering training in injection mould machining to help you expand your skill set and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and program CNC machines.
* Work with both online and offline programming (experience with either will be considered).
* Machine components to high precision tolerances for various industries.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure optimal machining strategies.
* Perform routine machine maintenance and quality checks.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
The Candidate
Essential Skills
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller.
* Competency in either online or offline programming.
* Strong understanding of machining processes and precision work.
* Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment.
* An engineering qualification would be desirable.
* Willingness to learn the injection mould process.
Salary
The salary offered for this position is £30,000–£50,000 plus overtime for a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
