Housing & Technical Resources requires an Architectural Officer to assist in delivering a comprehensive service related to the Council's Capital and Revenue Expenditure programme.
Initially, you will work in the General Services Team, participating in the delivery of South Lanarkshire Council's non-housing programme of work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
To undertake this role, you should have at least an HNC qualification in an appropriate discipline, along with excellent Revit & AutoCAD skills. You will act as a Contract Administrator on smaller projects and lead the design team through all stages of design to construction. Experience with refurbishment projects and knowledge of local authority building types, as well as an understanding of decarbonisation strategies, would be advantageous.
You should demonstrate a commitment to customer care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working to targets and deadlines, with an awareness of health and safety in the workplace.
