Heat Pump Installation Engineer (ASHP – Retrofit)
We are expanding our delivery team for the Warm Homes retrofit programme and are looking for an experienced Heating Engineer with a genuine interest in renewable heating and the decarbonisation of homes.
This role will involve delivering domestic Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) installations to a high standard, working as part of a site team, and supporting junior engineers and apprentices. Structured training and on-site technical support are available for engineers transitioning from traditional heating to heat pumps.
What you’ll be doing:
* Delivering retrofit ASHP installations from first fix through to commissioning and customer handover
* Leading and mentoring junior engineers on site
* Ensuring installations comply with quality, manufacturer, and safety requirements
* Diagnosing and resolving installation or technical issues
* Maintaining accurate site records and reporting
* Representing the company professionally on customer sites
What we’re looking for:
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Domestic Heating (essential)
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Company van + fuel card
* Uniform, PPE, and tools provided
* Typical workload: 1–2 ASHP installs per week
* Funded training and qualifications
* Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required
