Job Title: Buying Assistant
Location: Solihull
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
My client is passionate about delivering high-quality products to their customers and require a detail-oriented Buying Assistant to join thier dynamic team and support thier buying operations from product selection through to delivery.
Responsibilities
* Support Buyers in sourcing and selecting new products.
* Assist in preparing product range reviews and supplier presentations.
* Maintain accurate product and supplier data in internal systems.
* Liaise with suppliers to manage order confirmations, deliveries, and samples.
* Track and report on stock levels, sales trends, and performance metrics.
* Collaborate with internal teams including Merchandising, Marketing, and Logistics.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a buying or administrative role (retail experience a plus).
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Passion for retail, products, and customer trends.
