Job Description
I am currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a growing business and a friendly team in Oakham. This is a busy, part-time role offered on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.
Role Details:
* Pay: £17.00 – £20.00 per hour
* Hours: 18 hours per week
* Location: Oakham
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and the sales ledger.
* Raising and processing invoices and monitoring outstanding balances.
* Liaising with customers regarding payments and credit control.
* Communicating via calls and emails, and sending statements.
* Managing customer credit limits and insurance requests.
* Assisting the Finance Manager and Controller with wider finance tasks and queries.
Requirements:
* Mandatory prior experience in a finance role (AR, credit control, or finance administration).
* Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
* Experience with Business Central is highly desirable, though not essential.
* AAT qualifications (or similar) are advantageous but not mandatory.
