About the Role
As a Regional Service Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of a wide range of systems, including Cash Tube Systems, VenSafe, AutoStore, DRS, Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL), Self Checkouts, Checkouts, Lockers.
This is a field-based role covering Bedford / Luton and surrounding areas combining planned maintenance, reactive support, and continuous system improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Planned Maintenance
Deliver scheduled maintenance across all assigned systems
Carry out proactive inspections to reduce downtime
Maintain accurate service records and logs
* Reactive Support
Respond quickly to system faults and breakdowns
Diagnose issues and deliver effective repairs
Escalate complex technical problems when required
* System Performance & Improvement
Monitor system efficiency and identify optimisation opportunities
Perform upgrades, modifications, and enhancements
Ensure full compliance with safety and operational standards
* Cross-Functional & Customer Support
Support wider business units with technical expertise
Provide on-site guidance and basic training to customers/site teams
* Reporting & Documentation
Produce clear, accurate service reports after every visit
Document actions, findings, and recommendations professionally
Working Pattern
Rotating weekly structure:
Days: Monday–Friday
Nights: Sunday–Thursday
With some flexibility required for emergency response and operational needs.

Experience in field service or electromechanical systems (preferred)
