The Growth Company’s (GC) Employment team have an exciting new opportunity for four Employment Advisors to contribute to individuals’ progression into employment, training and education through the delivery of a range of guidance and training services for unemployed people.
The UK government's Youth Guarantee aims to prevent long-term youth unemployment by providing 18–21-year-olds on Universal Credit for 18+ months with a fully funded, six-month paid job. The scheme is providing guaranteed jobs for 55,000 long-term unemployed young people over the next 3 years, helping them take the crucial first step into sustained employment where earlier support and opportunities have not worked.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential, as the role involves community-based work across South Manchester, including Wythenshawe, Rusholme, Didsbury and Longsight.
