HAIL Partners is working with a global PE firm seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to take ownership of payroll operations across their UK and international offices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the end-to-end UK payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate monthly submissions.
* Coordinate international payrolls in partnership with local in-country providers.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related queries across the organisation.
* Ensure full compliance with HMRC regulations and payroll legislation in relevant international jurisdictions.
* Partner with the HR team to administer payroll changes related to new hires, leavers, salary adjustments, bonuses, and benefits.
* Prepare and reconcile payroll journals; collaborate with the Finance team to meet accounting and reporting requirements.
* Oversee year-end processes including the preparation and submission of P60s, P11Ds, and PSA filings.
* Identify opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes, ensuring ongoing accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Requirements:
* Payroll experience ideally working within Financial / Professional Services.
* Proven experience managing in-house UK payroll.
* Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
* CIPP qualified or actively working towards the qualification.
