Ward Manager – CAMHS
We are seeking a Ward Manager (CAMHS) to lead care for adults and adolescents with acute mental health problems at our independent hospital in Springfield, Essex. The role involves managing staffing, patient care plans, and ward operations.
Qualifications
Requirements:
* Qualified RMN Nurse with an active NMC Pin
* At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a relevant care setting
* Effective rota and training management skills
* Computer literate
* Committed to ongoing professional development
* Experience in clinical audit, service improvement, and managing multiple priorities
Responsibilities
* Play a key part in patients' recovery
* Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans
* Undertake routine tasks and activities to facilitate well-being, dignity, and treatment of patients
* Manage the ward and resources effectively, ensuring appropriate staffing levels
* Ensure all nursing team members receive clinical supervision, appraisal, CPD requirements, and complete mandatory training
* Address shortfalls in development and manage training and performance issues
