We’re recruiting on behalf of the local authorities for an experienced supervisor to manage their Waste/Street Cleaning Team.
It’s a site-based role where you’ll manage day-to-day operations, ensure all services are completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities will include staff performance reviews, managing team attendance, allocating vehicles and equipment, handling complaints made by the public, and monitoring KPIs.
What do you need to be successful?
Supervisory experience within a waste management or recycling field
Experience managing performance, absences, and disciplinaries
Excellent organisation and time management
Confidence to speak to public over email and phone
Flexibility to work weekends and out-of-hours on a rota
