The Role
We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronic systems that enhance the productivity and capabilities of our aerodynamics development processes for both motorsport and high-performance production vehicles. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and optimizing solutions to tackle various technical and engineering challenges. Your role is crucial and will significantly contribute to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
* Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing applications.
* Create detailed system architectures and specifications to meet or exceed requirements.
* Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop innovative solutions.
* Work with external suppliers to evaluate and select components and technologies.
* Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
* Oversee prototype and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
* Prepare and present technical reports, specifications, and presentations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a successful track record.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration, with experience in multidisciplinary system design.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
* Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
* Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, demonstrating organization, collaboration, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
* Experience with automotive, motorsports, or aerodynamics testing.
* Familiarity with system simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
* Expertise in CAD and mechanical design.
* Deep knowledge of control systems and theory.
