Lead Conversion Manager
Nottingham | £40,000 basic + bonus | Full-time | Office-based
An established and growing professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Lead Conversion Manager to take ownership of inbound enquiry performance and conversion across multiple service lines.
This is a pivotal commercial role, responsible for ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently, progressed effectively and converted into instructions, while maintaining high standards of data accuracy, responsiveness and client experience.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will have full ownership of the inbound lead journey from initial enquiry through to outcome.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and executing lead conversion strategies in partnership with Marketing, with clear ROI and performance targets
Qualifying inbound phone and email enquiries daily to assess suitability and maximise conversion
Setting, monitoring and enforcing response-time SLAs across enquiry, quote and follow-up stages
Owning and managing the CRM lead pipeline, ensuring all leads are progressed or closed within agreed timescales
Maintaining excellent CRM data quality through regular audits, reporting and process control
Producing weekly and monthly performance reports highlighting trends, conversion gaps and opportunities
Working closely with fee-earning and operational teams to ensure smooth and timely lead handovers
Implementing structured follow-up processes to improve conversion rates
Line managing and coaching a Business Development Executive, including KPIs, activity targets and 1:1s
Identifying new lead sources, referral opportunities and continuous process improvements
About You
You’ll be a commercially focused, data-driven individual with a strong background in lead conversion, enquiry management or sales operations.
You will ideally have:
3+ years’ experience in lead conversion, lead management, sales operations or similar roles
Strong CRM experience with the ability to track, analyse and improve performance
A results-focused mindset with confidence working to targets and SLAs
Excellent communication skills and a persuasive, professional approach
Experience managing performance, KPIs and coaching others
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to work collaboratively across marketing, sales and operational teams
A degree in Marketing, Business or a related field is desirable but not essential if you have relevant experience.
