We are seeking to appoint a dynamic leader with vision and a passion for learning who will, along with a management team, lead learning at Rephad Primary School, which includes a Nursery setting and, from August 2025, a new Learning Centre. The position offers an exciting opportunity to shape educational provision and is supported by a Depute Headteacher, Learning Centre Principal Teacher, and Nursery Manager.
Rephad Primary is situated in the picturesque market town of Stranraer in Dumfries and Galloway, overlooking Loch Ryan and the Ailsa Craig to the north. The school is located in the east of the town beside Stranraer Academy. It has easy access to the A75 towards Dumfries and the A77 leading to Ayr and Glasgow. The school has an excellent reputation within the local community, a welcoming ethos, supportive parents, a friendly staff team, and enthusiastic students.

As Headteacher, you will lead the school’s improvement agenda and drive development priorities with a professional staff team.
