Job Title: Compliance and Business Support Officer

The Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance and Business Support Officer to join the Property and Asset Management team. In this role, you will ensure contract compliance, payment processing, and performance monitoring are managed efficiently across the Council's housing and asset-related services. You'll liaise directly with contractors, internal teams, and other stakeholders to maintain high standards of accuracy, service delivery, and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensure the prompt and compliant payment of invoices in line with contracts and financial regulations
* Monitor and maintain contract performance data and documentation
* Liaise with contractors, DLO, and service colleagues to support seamless service delivery
* Conduct and coordinate reporting, compliance checks, and post-inspection validations
* Support in developing new procedures, contributing to service improvements and training initiatives
* Maintain accurate records on staff absence, training, and facilities data
* Coordinate and minute meetings, and provide ongoing business support across the service

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong administrative and reporting skills with attention to detail
* Ability to manage contractual payments and performance data
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to liaise across teams and with external stakeholders
* Experience in producing monitoring reports and maintaining accurate records
* Confidence using a variety of ICT systems, and the ability to learn new platforms
Desirable:
* Experience working in a technical or specialist housing/repairs environment
* Previous experience supporting payment compliance and contract monitoring
