Community Occupational Therapy – Specialist Children’s Services – Glasgow South
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde offers an opportunity to join a Community Occupational Therapy service within Specialist Children’s Services. This role provides high‑quality Occupational Therapy services to children with developmental and neuro‑developmental needs, including assessments, goal setting, evidence‑based interventions and reviews to support participation in everyday activities.
Key responsibilities
* Complete comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments for children.
* Set achievable goals and deliver evidence‑based interventions.
* Review progress and support participation in everyday activities.
* Build working relationships with multidisciplinary team, local schools and nurseries.
* Participate in induction and receive regular supervision and CPD opportunities.
Qualifications and experience
* Desirable – experience working within paediatrics; not essential.
* Organised, motivated, enthusiastic and a desire to work within the speciality.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills when working with children, young people and families.
* Current driving licence required.
