Are you a passionate Female Teacher of PE looking for a flexible role in a supportive and dynamic school? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE teacher to join our team in Leyland. This is a 0.8 FTE position, with the possibility of full-time hours depending on your availability and preferences.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach PE across a variety of year groups, inspiring students to lead active and healthy lives. If you're looking for flexibility, we can discuss competitive pay and the opportunity to cover other subjects with pre-set work to complete the timetable, should full-time hours be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality PE lessons to students across various year groups, promoting both fitness and enjoyment.
Developing engaging and inclusive lessons to encourage active participation in physical education.
Supporting and motivating students to achieve their full potential in both theory and practical lessons.
Upholding school policies regarding behaviour, health, and safety.
Opportunities to cover other specialisms or subjects with pre-set work, if full-time hours are preferred.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential.
Specialism in PE: Ability to plan and deliver engaging PE lessons to secondary school students.
Female PE Teacher: As part of our commitment to providing equal opportunities for all students, we are looking for a female teacher for this role.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to cover other subjects if needed to complete the timetable.
Strong Classroom Management: Able to maintain a positive, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment.
