The role
Working as a Maintenance Team Leader, you will lead a small shift-based engineering team
Remain hands-on while coordinating daily engineering activities
Balance planned maintenance, reactive fault-finding, and improvement work
Support shift handovers, workload prioritisation, and site performance
Act as a key link between engineering teams and senior site management
What we’re looking for
To succeed as a Maintenance Team Leader, you’ll need a recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc.)
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding capability
Confident leading, motivating, and supporting engineers on shift
Practical, hands-on mindset suited to a demanding operational environment
