PM Group is looking for a Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Consultant to join a client team on a new Energy project in Fife.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Initiation
2. Define work activity scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
3. Assist the Senior Project Manager and the Project Management Office in updating of project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
4. Liaise with engineering teams to establish technical specifications and requirements.
Execution and Coordination
5. Assit the SPM in Managing the EPC Contractor and other stakeholders relevant to EC&I elements, on project execution, including procurement, installation, commissioning, and testing of ECI systems.
6. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, control engineers, technicians, and contractors.
7. Monitor progress and performance against project plans, making adjustments as necessary.
Stakeholder Communication
8. Serve as the primary point of contact on behalf of the client for E,C&I related workflow and provide stakeholder engagement with all stakeholders.
9. Conduct regular project meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues.
10. Ensure clear documentation and communication of project requirements, changes, and milestones.
11. Quality and Compliance
12. Ensure all ECI systems comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
13. Support the commissioning team on quality assurance during design, installation, and commissioning phases.
14. Conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with safety and performance criteria.
Financial and Schedule Management
15. Assist the Senior Project Manager on costs and schedule management and review prevent cost and time overruns.
Risk Management
16. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
17. Monitor and address project issues promptly to minimize delays or cost impacts
Qualifications
Manage EC&I Performance in design
18. Deliver Weekly Progress reports on Design Performance
19. Undertake independent review and identify required actions to successfully deliver a safe and reliable engineering design for the H100 Fife Project.
Manage Control Interfaces
20. Lead on integration between all parties
21. Lead on the alarm management integration
22. Provide weekly status reports for the senior project manager
Management of Cybersecurity arrangements
23. Finalise Cyber Security Management Plan
24. Align and coordinate all parties on completion of their deliverables
25. Deliver project wide cyber security assessment
26. Supporting and Guidance for EC&I completions
27. Review Completions and Commissioning Plans
28. Support the completion of procedures for a successful completion
